The B.fresh Process.

We’ve optimised our juicing process to ensure we’re retaining as much goodness as possible from the freshest ingredients. This means using produce from our farm where possible, cold pressing and high pressure processing every bottle.

Grown on Our Farm

B.fresh are the only British cold pressed juice brand who grow and press our own greens! We're British farmers based in Shropshire, surrounded by fields of leafy greens. For three generations, the Maddocks family have been here farming, so we know our produce. Right here on the farm is where we press and bottle our juices – so trust us, we know where it’s come from. Sadly, the great British climate doesn’t allow us to grow everything we need to make sure our healthy juices are crammed full of the most delicious fruit and veg. So, we source the freshest produce from growers we know, so that we can keep you fuelled with the tastiest juices all year round.

Cold-Pressed

We use a totally cold process when making our juices as nutrients and vitamins don’t fare well with heat. The cold-press process helps to keep higher levels of them in our juices than you’d find in other pasteurised juices. Cold-pressed juice gives a ton of health benefits such as improved digestion, healthy weight loss and more. They are also great for people always on the go and struggling to get the vitamins and minerals they need. But of course, we always recommend drinking our juices alongside a balanced diet, to ensure you are getting everything that your body needs!

High Pressure Processed

HPP or High-Pressure Processing is a technique by which products, already sealed in their final package, are subjected to a high level of isostatic pressure transmitted by water. 6000 bars of pressure to be precise – which in laymen terms is equal to five times the pressure you’d find at the bottom of the deepest ocean. Some benefits of using HPP are; the characteristics of fresh product are retained, with 96% more nutrients preserved after the process unlike heat pasteurisation. It also helps to destroy pathogens such as Salmonella & Norovirus without altering the flavour or texture of the product. HPP extends the product shelf life and lower chance of spoilage, without the use of preservatives. Our juices, for example, have a 28-day shelf life from the moment they arrive at your door, and this is due to the HPP process!
